Communities play a vital role into welcoming new sets of Steemians. Communities develop, help, and nurture each other with a common goal - to succeed in Steemit. By conducting series of meetups, orientations, and providing community servers (Messenger Group Chat, Discord, Telegram, Facebook Group, Steemit Commmunity account) to make sure everyone is covered and engaged.

Our little community in Cebu, Philippines has been a very hyped community throughout Steemit. Hyped in the sense that series of fortunes are going well. With this are efforts to promote the platform like Orientation Seminars, Community Meetups, and Humanitarian Efforts powered by Steem. I'm proud to be part of this active and ever-growing community.

@Steemph.cebu is a communal account that aims to reward and support Steemians in a lot of aspects (Contests, Challenges, Events, etc). We've been very much collaborated to think of the ways that benefits the community. Then the Steemph.cebu Delegation System was introduced.

What's the Hidden Motive of this Delegation System?

Let me explain a bit. The @steemph.cebu delegation system works in a mutualism manner. Users who delegate their Steem Power (with denominations at 20, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 SP) receives a substancial vote from the account. The bigger the delegation, the bigger the % vote. Also, the greater the Steem Power @steemph.cebu is having, the bigger value of its upvote. Thus, we're surely monitoring Steemph.cebu's Voting Power to make sure everyone is covered (with proper scaling) and that @steemph.cebu's VP also will not be drained.

Delegations are welcome to Everyone (not only Cebu users). If you wish to delegate, you can with the same benefits in equal.

So what's the motive?

To provide support to Cebuano Starting users. Cebuano Minnows with Less than 35 Raw SP on their wallets will be eligible to receive an upvote from @steemph.cebu without delegating Steem Power. It's best to baby sit them and provide some support in their early stages. Having a community that babysits these new Steemians to let them feel they are valued (even at small amount) and be able coach, mentor, engage and explore more in the platform.

I understand that some may think of complacency, I believe this will be all about how the community functions. The leads and members always try to incorporate that the true beauty and earnings in Steemit exist outside the community. The way the community provides is just a start up to let them feel valued and have this starting momentum.

Also, we're currently targetting Cebu Steemians for the Minnow support because we already have a big community and the voting power will not be enough to cover Steemians outside the city. However, if delegations will come - we will be open to provide support to other existing communities in the Philippines.

Currently, we @steemph.cebu is now having 7k Steem Power coming from the communal account itself plus the accumulated delegation. So here's a quick table of the delegation system and it's approximated vote value :
