Got to love the smell of Poetry in the morning................

Once In a dream, Saul Williams told me
Why can't you say something deep and have a dope ass beat?
So Am digging up All the Dead Philosophers
And dragging their Ideas thru the streets.

What is the Density of an Egoless Thought by @satorid is one of those works that sound so crazy, they just make sense.

Okay, fine then.
Pretend that you don't see the the flower in my hair
or the fact that I am wearing my favorite tutu.
I will pretend that I don't notice the tired sadness behind your chipper greeting
and the tattooed Leonard Cohen lyrics that are peeking out your sleeve.

Okay Fine Then by @caitlinjohnstone is by an author who has been featured before. Recently featured, even. But what she writes is important with a capital TANT. I love how she delves into the psyche of two people meeting for the first time, who could be soul mates or even just special to each other, but all of our trappings of what is a "normal" interaction get in the way. It's beautiful and firey and you should definitely read it. Because I'll probably feature her again.

The centipede is coming! Signaled the scout desperately.
It’s a big one. It’s going to kill us all!

Of How the Cockroaches Got Rid of the Centipede by @hlezama dives into the human conciousness through an unusual lens- that of our (unwelcome) insectile guests. The personification and their actions as a group puts a whole new spin on the whole situation.

The people once again became shapes that moved through a liquid sea of colors. Thoughts of the boy and the perils of man loosened and drifted away. The city became an abstract painting, open to interpretation.

You Know They'll Think You're Crazy by @whatamidoing is a teaser from a chapter of a book that makes me want to read more for all the right reasons- compelling style, a main character that tugs a little on your heart strings, and a mystery that you just can't shake.

Once upon a time,
Our sky had two moons.
One named Elena,
The other named Kyle.
Green like the earth,
They both had life.

Dragons by @nicewoody69 is a piece of prosey poetry that is inspired by George R.R. Martin, and tells the tale of how dragons came to be be.
