Being Mindful of my Wellbeing by rensoul is a cross between poetry and prose, that plays on expectations. She works hard to support the poetry community with her contests as well, so check those out if you write poetry.

So, too, with the apparently difficult doors of opportunity
that stubbornly balk at all rattling
yet suddenly yield at the key moment.

In Praise of Poetry and Gifts isn't technically a piece of creative writing. However, you all must know by now my love of meetups and all things involving steemians interacting in real life. @yahialababidi gifted another steemian a book of his poetry, and this was her response. It makes my little steemian heart smile :)

Never forget you have worth
Even if it takes time to unearth

Silver Linings by @@@hopehuggs is an uplifting piece that uses rhyming couplets.

that all our erased conversations

on how to have fruitful conversations

The Muse of Tragedy by @rasamuel is stunningly gorgeous poem musing over the end of a relationship and still hoping for that happy ending.

There was a time in her youthful innocence when things happened by chance, or as some say by coincidence. The moment she met some stranger in a club or bar and their eyes met, it was kismet or a chance meeting with someone she may or may not share a drink, kiss our touch.

Coincidence by @eaglespirit explores the relationship between two people and the things that bring them together.
