The OHM-LET ~ An egg-free and vegan cheese omelette. ~

Omelette has to be one of the most cherished breakfast dishes of all. Not quite a fried egg and not quite a cake, omelettes are not only tasty but satisfactorily filling to tackle the day ahead. As you may know, omelettes require a lot of unhatched chickens to be sacrificed. To a growing number of people this is unacceptable in light of the tasty and compassionate alternatives.

Since @ambrosiacafe's mission is to turn the world on to magic vegan dishes, what better way than to try a new variety of a meal we dig? I can't wait to try it out, and to stack up some exotic spices to experiment with new ideas in the kitchen. Thanks, @ambrosiacafe!

Steemit Recipes Database - Cookies And Cream Ice Cream

I dig fruit-based varieties of ice cream but more than anything I love when there are cookie chunks in vanilla and it's done right. Some combinations in ice cream are just divine and this looks like a major candidate, inspired by the successful cookie-cream varieties out there.

Sport Portrait Edit

In the pursuit of any kind of art we sometimes feel stuck; there are things we want to craft and create but we simply don't know how to take our inspiration into reality. Learning the tools to create what's slumbering inside of us is crucial to reach the next level in any type of craftsmanship. Fortunately we live in an age where information on how to do things is abundantly available in high quality.

Take the tutorials of @ykdesign for example, teaching us how to create stunning action portraits in Photoshop out of a simple photograph. And all without using a single spoken word.

The Major Arcana IV, "The Emperor"

Speaking of next level craftsmanship, it's been a while since I featured the marvelous creations by @sibr.hus, one of my favorite visual artists on Steemit.

His glorious work on the Major Arcana is slowly coming to an end after relentless devotion to the craft and a timeless series of creations that ooze ancient magical qualities with incredible clarity. If you are unfamiliar with his magnificent work I highly recommend checking out his treasure trove of creations that would put most recognized fantasy artists of major film and game studios to shame. I especially love how we are allowed a glimpse into the steady creation of these masterpieces...

Traveling: how we distinguish ourselves obsessively from other tourists

It has been said that travel is an artform. Many people love to travel; we love to see new places, experience other ways of life in far-off locations and often we are looking for a change in our environment by temporarily submerging ourselves in other cultures, customs and surroundings.

While I have gathered incredible experiences on my travels I may never look at being a traveler the same way after reading this insightful article by @keysa. The system has started to integrate and offer novel forms of tourism to the masses, to sell it to touristy people wanting to go on sightseeing tours of increasingly weirder kinds. And even the best of intentions seem to result in eerily similar patterns like the colonialist tourists that came before us.

And while I certainly see some aspects differently than @keysa has written here, I really gotta think about this more after reading through this article... which is always what I am after in trying to learn new things: prospecting new ideas even when they hurt <3

If you are a traveler and want to expand your horizon with a radical and somewhat uncomfortable idea that may go against your own convictions and worldviews written up in plain and powerful wording, look no further.

2. All articles chosen for curation need to have been published within the last 5 days before your entry. It may take time for me to publish your curation, and curated articles need to be within the reward window when your submission is published.
3. You cannot submit your own post for curation. Selections from nsfw will not be accepted. We also check for plagiarism and only highlight original content.
4. Selected posts should have less than $50 in total rewards and have not previously been curated by The Daily Sneak.
5. We try to spread the love around, so while selections from authors that have been highlighted before are welcome, they might not be included if the author's last inclusion was recent. Similarly, if you include two articles from the same author in one submission, we will typically highlight only one of the two.
6. Be sure to include your personal bio for me to introduce you to readers, and make sure that each selection has commentary. This can be just a few sentences about why you think the selection is worth our attention, or what is great about it - something that will make people want to click through the headline and check out the actual article. English is preferred, but other languages will be considered as long as English translation is included.

Submission Reward

A brief biography of each guest curator will be included in the edition that uses their submission. In addition, each guest curator will receive 1 SBD for each article from their submission that is highlighted in The Daily Sneak. That's up to 5 SBD for each accepted submission!

Right now @thedailysneak's upvote is not worth as much as we are paying for guest curation. Why do we pay so much for guest curation? We believe that quality curation is very important to Steem. Paying our curators well encourages them to spend more time reviewing content and picking out the best pieces!
