Offensive Security Course from FSU - [Online Lectures]
The Department of Computer Science from Florida State University has a page where it's all the materials required for the Offensive Computer Security course from the Spring of 2014.
Not many universities have good courses on computer security and cyber-security, so it's worth mentioning when you encounter one.
I'd suggest starting with lecture 2 because that's where the meat is. Lecture 2 is all about computer registers and secure coding in C.
The instructors are Prof. Xiuwen Liu and Prof. Owen Redwood. What I like a lot about this course is that they also teach the ethics of offensive computer security (lecture 1) and then they get into the very details of reverse engineering and exploit development.

I would be truthful, I wasn't able to watch the whole video. Not because it wasn't good (on the contrary I found it precise and engaging) but because the topic is not relate to my field.
Still, for the first 15 minutes I was able to follow the video (intro to VN architecture, basics of C). Then I skipped to around till I reached the 35minute mark to 45 minute mark. I am not much of a programmer and never had any command over any language but I am so glad that I took the time to understand C and an object oriented language like C++ .

Wow , this is a great knowledge you have just shared with us {me in particular} I’ve been following for quite a while now and I’ve learnt quite a lot. Kudos my friend , I can do some hacking I think if I keep practicing
