Downieville California, mtb shuttle
Hello all, this is my 3rd and last day in Downieville, CA. After running through the morning routine, it was off to the 10am shuttle to the packer saddle campground.
The ride was 15 miles and 300 feet of climbing. Most of it was downhill...

I love the outdoors, but camping is just over the limit for me. I went camping this time because all of the hotels near this area were booked full. The only thing left were campgrounds. I have the essential items for camping, but it's not a first choice as there are a lot of mosquito's at most sierra campground which I hate...
There were a lot of butterflies near the creeks.
Some of the trail went through a rock garden which I walked. I cannot afford to get injured, I need to go back to work!
Some nice wild flowers in all colors are seen just about everywhere
Here is a shot near my campground of the Yuba river near dusk. The river is fed by the snow melt from the high sierra peaks.
It is very clear, you can see the rocks at the bottom
