I’ve been having an interesting few weeks regarding ‘work’ — you know the actual stuff that I want to be doing with my time day by day, how can I fit in the world of work, you know the money and cents of lives day to day and week/month bills to cover the things I really enjoy to do each day?
What do I want to work on, who do I want to work for, how do I I want to spend the rest of my days on planet earth — nobody just wants to sustain themselves, we wanna get ahead right?
Last night was a real taste and a confirmation for me that the world of the virtual knowledge exchange is well and truly here — I do a two hour consultation with a client in canada on my 4g connection, earned money remotely while using my experience and knowledge to bring this ‘new to this digital stuff’ world.
People are making massive changes in their lives let me tell you and for existing digital workers it’s BOOM time for us — lots of new people are getting computers for running remote businesses, jumping into the video streaming boom, building audiences on facebook and beyond — people are becoming portals in the business services they offer.
It was the first remote consultation that I’ve had where I came away from it feeling pumped and charged up, that I’d helped someone progress their streaming thing forward, got paid for it and also pushed my own momentum forward in doing my own streaming stuff by bringing in funds to afford me new gear — this digital circle economy is fantastic! :)
With 5g and internet connections getting faster all the time I truly believe that this is the future of working — not just the idea of working less hours or commuting but ‘in place, in time’ support — wherever you are on planet earth the ability for someone to interface with you or blockchains tracking and rewarding us for our ‘proof of brain’ and knowledge exchange for a currency we value — and I don’t mean just fiat, I mean wherever we believe our value can be augmented and amplified.
. .. and this stuff is JUST getting started.
