We are getting closer to an important phase of the steem blockchain, the ability to onboard users, for them to signup at a number of the locations where steem apps operate, @steemhunt is one of those dApps if you like — I’m certain the team is actively working on sign up.
This is important because for the first time it will be an easy process to onboard people from outside the chain with the methods that people are used too — pretty much super fast turnaround times, instant, like getting login details via email notification when you sign up at a centralised site.
As part of hf20 there was an accommodation made to create a number of free accounts to be generated on a daily basis that we will have access too, I’m sure many tools are actively being made to do that very thing — I’m excited because it directly influences my amplify project which I wrote about last year when I thought the hardfork was coming, obviously it was delayed a long time.
My main focus is this group of people. . ..
- youtubers that should be here on steemit
- e-residency advocates that should be here
- gamers and clans mainly for a future project (excite!)
- kickstarter projects because steem can facilitate the conversation
- patreon projects have a similar vibe to steemit
- twitch streamers an offline space for the audiences
- brand advocates who inspire me with their work
- van dwellers and digital nomads working from the road
. … of who I follow the most and feel that they have often a great following behind them, i’m aiming to tailor the promotion based on what appeals to them so it’s very custom and fits into their day to day schedules which can be radically different between a youtuber content creator and a streamer on twitch.
My next step is to build out a trello board where I’ll be sharing the tools, promotional files, animations, banners, layouts, all assets that you can download an remix to suit to help you promote and outreach to these communities too.
