Seascape Extraordinaire!
I'm taking to Toorbul for today's digital treat. Toorbul is a sleepy, seaside township in Queensland, Australia. It was late afternoon when I took the original images of this picturesque place and the setting sun produced some awesome seaside silhouettes.
I have created four different digital images for you to view. I know which one is my favourite. What one do you prefer?
Toorbul faces both the Pumicestone Channel and Bribie Island, and is only a short, 50 km drive from Brisbane. This is where the Bribie Island bridge was built.
Toorbul and Pumicestone Channel is known for their fabulous oyster beds and fishing is a popular pastime for many. Toorbul was surveyed in 1868, and farms were taken up soon afterwards. It continued as a rural community until the 1940s.
The name Toorbul relates to that of an Aboriginal clan living in the area. The township is situated between the two entrances of Elimbah and Ningi Creeks.
Toorbul Point is a slightly elevated headland situated south of Ningi Creek, which is now called Sandstone Point.
This is my original photo. And although digital art is fun and produces arty, colourful, surreal and contemporay abstract images.........you just can't argue with the ever changing, always amazing beauty of nature painted by the greatest artist of all.......our Creator.

Oh! There is so much drama in the digital world! I like the added interest and I am intrigued by how different the same shot comes out.
If I have to choose, I love the first one, hands down. The color pops right out at me and it has a 3D effect. And as a runner up, I love the fourth one, the colors are just delightful!
