FACTS about SWEET POTATO

Sweet potato is often served in our house. It is one of my favorite food to eat in the morning, in lunch time, or in dinner time.

Benefits of Sweet Potato

  • Fiber - Fiber is good for constipation.
  • Potassium - given a play role in the immune system of the body.
  • Antioxidant - it can detoxify all the impurities of the skin because it has Vitamin E.
  • Beta-Carotene - may also helps protect against Prostate Cancer and Colon Cancer.
  • Insulin Resistance- that can reduce low blood sugar to a person that has diabetes.
  • Blood pressure- maintaining a low sodium intake helps keep a healthy blood pressure.

It can also be a substitute for dieting. Plus it is readily available, inexpensive and nutritious.
