Daily Food Photography: Pork Giniling
Pork Giniling
This is a staple dish in the Philippines using ground pork. In every carinderia, pork giniling is almost always one of the viands present.
It is a pretty easy dish. Here are what you need:
Others opt to put in raisins and quail eggs.
We basically just have to sauté onion, garlic and add in ground pork. Then let it simmer with tomato sauce and a little water to bring out the taste. Add in the minced vegetables with the green peas and garbanzos. Salt and pepper to taste. Wait for a few minutes until the veggies are soft to eat and pork giniling is done.
Best served woth hot white steamed rice. My little one makes it into a "pork chow fan" by simply mixing rice.
