Joy sits on the stairs. The staircase is terribly undesirable, but Joy does not go away. She guards the passage to the top. Recently, she managed to win a whole piece of sofa in the room on the second floor and now she is afraid that someone will take her place. But she also wants to know what's going on downstairs.
