Cordial greetings!
This poem is part of a Challenge of 365 day of poetry inspired by the photo. This is my entry 93, I hope you like it.
Venas abiertas
cuyo oscuro llanto, casi ausente,
Veins open
or a light calling from a cliff,
whose dark weeping, almost absent,
resounds in a burning twilight.
He sleeps asleep, there, in the well of himself.
where he weaves his images.
And he dreams of women, his eyes, his petals.
and with the miserable time that destroys his corollas,
beautiful women he never loved
and they never loved him.
without being himself or anyone else,
only the half shadow of his dream
between sleepwalking steps,
that anchors it in a lagoon of the past.
and maybe at this hour,
nor does the moon understand what I'm talking about,
but he does, he's always waiting for me between words.
flowing to the peaks, to the clouds and into the night.
There is a mirror nearby where we see ourselves
like birds with wings waiting for the jump.
And the stone horizon that divides the world
with a long knife, attracts our flights.
I am still awake, though I must go with the birds,
and he is fascinated here, almost asleep,
coming and going from nobody knows where,
among biomasses of dust, phosphoric veins,
fires and souls that shine
