A small Town calls Betancuria - Eine kleine Stadt namens Betancuria

Hello everybody,

I really enjoyed the trip to Betancuria. The city is one of the six communities that belong to Fuerteventura. A historically significant place on the island here. Many baptize the city as the most beautiful place in Fuerteventura.

The small town has numerous historic buildings and beautiful streets. Betancuria is characterized by the nostalgic ambience. Only about 700 inhabitants live here. Betancuria is nestled in a narrow valley in the central mountains of Fuerteventura, not far from Antigua. As the small town is located in the central mountainous region, there is more rainfall here than in the other regions on the island.

If you make a stop in Betancuria, you must necessarily look past the famous three-nave parish church:

Other attractions in Betancuria include the Museo Arte Sacro (Museum of Religious Art), the Casa Museo de Betancuria, the Archaeological Museum, and the former Franciscan Convent of Buenaventura.

Take time to walk in the little streets. It will be worth it for you.

Hallo zusammen,

den Trip nach Betancuria habe ich richtig genossen. Die Stadt ist einer der sechs Gemeinden, die zu Fuerteventura gehören. Ein historisch bedeutsamer Ort auf der Insel hier. Viele taufen die Stadt als den schönsten Ort Fuerteventuras.

Sehr einladend die kleine Kirche am Ende oder auch am Anfang der kleinen Stadt :)

Die kleine Stadt bietet zahlreiche historische Bauwerke und schöne Gassen. Betancuria wird durch das nostalgische Ambiente geprägt. Hier leben nur rund 700 Einwohner. Betancuria liegt, eingebettet in ein enges Tal, im zentralen Bergland von Fuerteventura, nicht weit von Antigua entfernt. Da die kleine Stadt im zentralen Bergland liegt, fallen hier mehr Niederschläge als in den anderen Regionen auf der Insel.

Wenn ihr mal einen Stopp in Betancuria macht, müsst ihr unbedingt bei der bekannten dreischiffige Pfarrkirche vorbei schauen:

Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten in Betancuria sind das Museo Arte Sacro (Museum für kirchliche Kunst), das Casa Museo de Betancuria, das Archäologische Museum, sowie das einstige Franziskanerkloster Convento de Buenaventura.

Nehmt euch zeit, um in den kleinen Gässchen spazieren zu gehen. Es wird sich lohnen für euch.
