Dear @Dayleeo // 7th July 2k18 // ready to start the day, 6am start today — all the things!

Good morning dear.

It’s just after 6:30am — stardekie was up streaming drunk when I woke up so had to throw him on, he was a mess, talking about his grandad dying and stuff, now he’s about to wander around mexico city and get tacos — lol.

Anyway, morning dear — I passed clean out last night, I know I was tired. Fitbit is telling me that I actually went to sleep at 10:51 finally and woke at 5:58am. First thing I did when I got up was bring the blue pull along trolly out and empty it out on the bed so that I had a decent/easy way to get stuff from the shop and back — I’ve got a whole plan this morning.

I’m gonna write you, write out everything I need this morning for the top 10 and for my dtube for the day and then I’m outta the door, I’ve got little under maybe an hour to do all that stuff and then I’ve got my plan — shop run combined with beer for the match tonight, supplies. ..

trip back to breakfast, chill, wake up via the flat white, then go and pay rent back to record and mod — it’s a perfect plan and as long as they sell alcohol at this time in the morning I should be set for the rest of the day and the match later.

Even thou I really did not want to get out of bed at 6am this morning I have to say it’s getting easier to do, it’s a case of having too when the temps are gonna be 81f for five hours straight across the board in the middle of the day, I’m literally the blade daywalker or riddick right now dodging heatwaves.

I’ve never had to work around weather so savage as this, makes me really consider work in general and pushes me more to investing time and resources in services that can number crunch in data centres around the clock (see my last dtube to see what I’m on about!)

i made a little end scene thing yesterday for youtube so I’m gonna be testing that out today, I think the more I blow the youtube yang the more chance I have to get the subscriber numbers above 720 — I’m literally so close to that elusive 1000 number after eleven years it’s dumb to give up on that now even thou I have no requirement to adjust who I am for the ‘youtube generation’ of fake plastic people brigade ticking algorithm boxes, but they set that hard number rule so it’s a challenge.

Crazy that Brazil are out of the World Cup, this World Cup has been crazy across the board — the teams I expected to be in are already home or now going home and today is the test for England — is it coming home or are they, who can tell, it’s been a bizarre one so far and if they win today I can’t imagine how the rest of the country is gonna deal with it! :)

Kinda incredible how that dog stuff came at that time right? You take a chill day and the universe is like — what’s this italian girl doing, we gotta get this situation sorted, send her some work. Pumped thou, it’s another chance to get that flight/trip sorted out — I think I can pull something together in that amount of time and get myself on a plane heading in your general direction for that time, we can work out the other details — mission on for a plane ticket has started, at least if we have that we can work out the rest.

Kinda weird actually because I’ve been thinking about how I get rid of some of the stuff that I have here — I need that purge badly, let’s see if one or two days this week I can get the table outside this week and take photos, write some descriptions out and make a little ccard site to flog them on, maybe make it all steem or sbd powered or something — that reminds me, jun dropped me an email I gotta get back to him!

I miss hanging out for sure, breakfast, beers, introducing you to brit food types, I miss the nyc tacos, the usuals stuffs — just hanging out in unison with laptop club, the little brain farts at the bus stops ;) we kinda crushed logistics and still do every single day, just keep on turning up eh? I know the laptop charger will turn up today. You’ll be set, so don’t worry (even if it doesn’t come it ain’t no problem)

Just turned 7am — I’m on track I think, I’ll probably leave just after half past to make sure I get some of those early morning crispy cheese and onion batboys — my plan is to get funds to be able to cover my next week school pickup as well so that I’m ahead of the curve and that paying you back this week is easy and I don’t stress about it so much, I might send 3/4’s of that back before friday depending on the next few days — things are good at the moment and I’m super thankful of that in the summer time.

I know I’m leaving cash on the table on upward thou — need to drop my $10 over there and get myself hooked back up on that platform because that’s relatively easy cheddar especially if I can get into some video editing for someone, maybe that will push me forward to get my own stuff on lock.

Two things I’d really love right now is a courier job delivering parcels local in an electric van — I’d get my exercise in, I’d get my vlogging in, I’d get my driving and logistics in (I’d be able to take big stuff to the tip etc, get wood, fix the bed) and the second thing is to get some social/video work on upwork — boy needs technology and upgrades so boy needs to bring in that additional cheddar.

I just went on a bit of a wormhole with upwork which took me additional time that I did not want to spend — looks like I can use one of the startup app banks thou as an output for payments so that’s pretty rad, it’s only $0.99 cents to do it as well similar to PayPal but I’m guessing will be no messing and automatic — we should do a bit of a hunting session on there for different roles, only need to hook one or two that need regular work and I’d be set what with everything else going on.

Coffee is starting to take effect and I keep watching the clock, I’ve got thirty minutes, I think it’s enough time to crush everything and get out the door with my granny bag and head towards the shops like a rabid beer shopper, looking like one of those desperate early morning drunks — they better be able to sell me beer at this time in the morning otherwise the whole celebration (or drown my sorrows thing) later will be scuppered — we gonna do the old music/chat/discord setup again? Still not got that locked down yet to do that easily! :)

You know what else I’m excited about? @upgrades, I really wanna push that through so I know that’s setup before I start pushing for the flight ticket — if I know that you have that sorted that side that makes things a lot easier regarding daily momentum, I can help you set that up and show you have to get the settings on lock for that — I’ll probably not have a laptop before the flight but at least if you are setup I should be able to send you my OBS profile, I read the other day about a mode called ‘portable’ that I should be able to run OBS in to make it easier to distribute the files/configuration.

Got the text last night from poppets mum saying she was home, tired and couldn’t tell if she had caught the sun or was just dirty — either way, she went to bed and she was out, I’m guessing they have not been sleeping much and she’s done more exercise this week than she has done in a while so she’s gonna be out of it for a while — I hope I get to speak to her today at some point by FaceTime or something :)

Realising it’s either hugs or alcohol is my weekly reset now — if I don’t get one have to have the other, kinda stark but hey if that’s how it works, one’s got empathy behind it the other desperation! :)

Ok biza, I’m gonna close this up now and get onto the top 10, I’ve got twenty five minutes before I need to be out the door and heading towards the shops, I’m like mission impossible this morning and it’s a mission I have to accept because outside of these time frames it’s starting to look a little iffy regarding the planning of the rest of the day — I’m already gonna have to record in quite host morning sunshine, I think the machine can cope thou
