Argument ad Hominem
We continue with our list of fallacies, today I will briefly explain the Argument ad hominem.
Its meaning also comes from Latin, meaning "against man" and it is because it does not seek to attack the argument that is exposed but to the person who proposes it, this makes it very easy to detect.
In spite of being quite absurd, nowadays it is used to discredit a person and to irritate them to affect their arguments lose sense. An annoyed or hurt person can get carried away by emotions and lose the argument, for this reason is the favorite of politicians and other figures of power.
A simple example could be attacking a person because of their age, their job or some characteristic, even because of their past.

Su significado también proviene del latín, significa «contra el hombre» y se debe a que no busca atacar el argumento que se expone sino a la persona que lo propone, esto la hace muy fácil de detectar.
A pesar de ser bastante absurda, actualmente se usa para desacreditar a una persona e irritarla para afectar sus argumentos pierdan sentido. Una persona molesta o herida puede dejarse llevar por las emociones y perder la discusión, por esta razón es la favorita de los políticos y demás figuras de poder.
Un ejemplo simple podría ser atacar a una persona debido a su edad, su trabajo o alguna característica, incluso por su pasado.
