How money is created and why cash is so important

in #decentralisation5 years ago (edited)

Abundance really is a myth (at least when it comes to money in our society).

Our money system is built on never-enough-ness and stress - the opposite of abundance.

Whatever you think of David Icke - in this interview he does a great job in explaining how our current money system works and how it is that all the wealth continuously moves only in one direction: the top.

I highly recommend watching the short clip below.

He doesn’t really go into cryptocurrencies, but he talks about the importance of cash.

Decentralized cryptocurrencies are cash

Cryptocurrencies (not all of them, but the decentralized ones) are the solution for us to keep our freedom and self-sovereignty in the digital world. They are private peer-to-peer payment networks that do not require a third party or intermediary to transact. Just like cash. Only in digital form.

That’s what most people still cannot wrap their head around. That “virtual” money can still be cash.

Just because we won’t have physical cash anymore, doesn’t mean we won’t have cash anymore. We can still have it, only it will be in digital form, and - very importantly - it will be decentralized just like physical cash.

Digital decentralized cash is something totally different from the digital (centrally controlled) money we have at the moment.

The digital numbers you send around through intermediaries like online banking, PayPal and credit cards? Not cash.

The digital coins you send around peer-to-peer through Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Monero etc? Cash.

Digital cash frees us, while digital money enslaves us.

This clip perfectly explains what will happen (is already happening) unless we support decentralized digital (#crypto) currencies.
