Ornaments made from betel leaves

People who love art and are skilled at work have many things that can be offered to other people.

One of them is to make betel leaf as an ornament that resembles the "Lintoe-baro" crown, a typical Acehnese hat used by men who have just married a woman of her choice..

Betel leaves that are spent on this decoration are around 20 bunches that weigh around 3 kilograms.

To assemble it into a crown, craftsmen only need threads and needles so that they can be used to connect one betel leaf with another betel leaf..
