You are a Steward

Remember that you are not here on your own accord. You were created by God. You may not know the reason for the situation you are going through but your maker does.

Instead of spending time drowning in depression why not link up with your source and know why you are ‘growing’ through what you are and what He wants out of the situation. We serve a God who works out everything for our good (Jeremiah 29). Yes, you may have cried your eyes out over an issue and you may still be crying now, but encourage yourself in the Lord, your maker. You may feel disappointed, it happens; you may feel frustrated, displaced, dismayed but refuse to drown in it.

It is one thing to know the word and it is another thing to know the Author. Something when you are going through the valley of the shadow of death, remember that there is an Author and a Finisher who knows the end from the beginning.

Paul can be said to have been very depressed judging from all he went through as recorded in the Bible. Here is the confession of someone who has witnessed more death threatening situation as a daily dose in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."

You are a steward; dont waste the Resource!
