"Perching Pelican."
This is my entry into the Amateur photography division of #derangedphotography Deranged Photography Contest run by @derangedvisions. The theme this week is: 'Birds or Flying Animals'.

This beautiful pelican posed very nicely for me from his lofty vantage point at the Tangalooma Beach Resor in Queensland, Australia. There was plenty of activity going on all around him with tourists coming and going and all manner of water sports being enjoyed on this fine summer's day.
