One those really exciting developments!

I talked in my previous post about how I planned to break down some of the interesting things happening here on the Steem blockchain.

I think it's very relevant to everyone on this platform to understand thoroughly what's going on and how each of us can make an impact and move this whole ship forward.

That's one of my favorite ways of looking at the Steem blockchain.

As though we are a whole ship. We are all on the ship together and we are all sailing to the moon!

Anyways, this latest development is from Blocktrades.

If you don't know, they are a massive exchange and they service many coins and keep a Steemit account.

They are a big deal. They have a witness, they've contribute to the Steem blockchain in so many ways, etc etc.

I recommend reading it.

It's a proposal that shows how they can implement RocksDB for the blockchain and decrease costs for Steemit and witnesses by a significant amount... saving over $250,000 a year and also allowing the Steem blockchain to have better scalability and efficiency in the future!

This is super important and Blocktrades is making the information public so that everyone can see what's going on.

They actually even mentioned that Ned said it would be a good idea to post the info to Steemit and see what the community of Steem has to say.

This is a new era of communication between us and Steemit, Inc. and I'm happy about it! We need this!
