Lazy Sunday afternoon - Impressionen aus dem Kurpark Bad Homburg

Hallo liebe Community,

heute war das Wetter schon sommerlich und wir beschlossen gleich nach dem Frühstück in den Kurpark Bad Homburg zu gehen. Dort findet die Kunstausstellung Blickachsen 2019 bis zum 6. Oktober 2019 statt. Sie bringt alle zwei Jahre Kunstwerke internationaler Künstler in den Park, 2013 wurde die Ausstellung auf das ganze Rhein-Main- Gebiet erweitert.

Mir gefielen am besten das Kunstwerk der halbe Fuß, von Fredrik Wretman, die Skulptur Frau auf dem Kopf stehend von Charlotte Gyllenhammar und die Installation, wo viele echte Jackets in der Luft aufgehängt sind von Kaarina Kaikkonen. Einfach beeindruckend.

Today the weather was already summery and we decided to go to the spa park Bad Homburg right after breakfast. The art exhibition Blickachsen 2019 will take place there until October 6, 2019. Every two years, it brings works of art by international artists to the park. In 2013, the exhibition was extended to cover the entire Rhine-Main area.

I liked best the half-foot artwork, by Fredrik Wretman, the sculpture Woman standing on her head by Charlotte Gyllenhammar and the installation where lots of real jackets are hung in the air by Kaarina Kaikkonen. Simply impressive.

Natürlich bietet der Kurpark noch viele Möglichkeiten das Auge schweifen zu lassen. Mir hat der kleine Teich mit dem Froschkönig noch sehr gut gefallen.

Of course, the spa park offers many opportunities to wander the eye. I liked the little pond with the frog king very much.
