Hohe Schlüsselblume ■ The oxlip
Primula elatior
Die hohe Schlüsselblume gehört zur Familie der Primeln (Primula). Sie blüht an Waldrändern mit feuchten, nährstoffreichen Böden und ist oft schon im März zu finden. Mit einer Wuchshöhe von bis zu 30 Zentimeter, ist sie wesentlich größer als die echte Schlüsselblume (Primula veris). Diese wächst bevorzugt auf trockenen Wiesen und ist sehr zahlreich in der Natur zu finden.
The true oxlip belongs to the primula family. It blooms on forest margins with moist, nutrient-rich soils and is often found as early as March. With a growth height of up to 30 centimeters, it is considerably larger than the true primula (Primula veris). It grows preferably on dry meadows and can be found in large numbers in nature.

Bei diesen Aufnahmen habe ich die Pflanzen schon einige Tage zuvor am Wegesrand entdeckt. Erst jetzt stehen sie in voller Blüte und überragen den Waldboden. Das Abendlicht schafft eine helle Stimmung, die sich im Hintergrund wiederspiegelt. Die Bäume sind nur als schwache Silhouette erkennbar. Der Wald wird an offenen Bereichen von der Sonne angeleuchtet. Durch die offene Blende wirken die Kontraste weich und sanft. Mit meiner Aufnehme möchte ich eine zauberhafte Ruhe vermitteln.
With these photos I discovered the plants already some days before at the wayside. Only now they are in full bloom and tower above the forest floor. The evening light creates a bright atmosphere which is reflected in the background. The trees are only visible as a weak silhouette. The forest is illuminated by the sun at open areas. The open aperture makes the contrasts soft and gentle. With my photography I want to convey a magical peace.

Zauberhafte Ruhe, wunderbar - das ist richtige Bild, leg mich jetzt (nach einer Nachtschicht) nieder.
Den Link für full resolution hat es übrigens verschluckt, hab es mir aber trotzdem in ganzer Pracht angesehen.
