Coconut harvest - thousends of them

It was a life experience. Working on a coconut plantation, in the middle of it instead of just doing it.
Together with the locals we started at 6 o'clock in the morning.

One group went ahead to harvest the coconuts with long sticks, we as the second group put them together and then removed the hold.

A third group then loaded them onto the tractor and drove them to the collection point.

It took us a whole day to cover 50 hectares and in the evening, shortly before dark, we were ready at 7 o'clock.

A beautiful time I must honestly say.

Das war eine Lebenserfahrung. Arbeiten auf einer Kokosnuss Plantage, mitten drin statt nur dabei.
Mit den Einheimischen zusammen ging es morgens um 6 Uhr los.

Eine Gruppe ging voraus um mit langen Stöcken die Kokosnüsse zu ernten, wir als Zweite Gruppe haben diese dann zusammen gelegt und dann das Hold daran entfernt.

Eine Dritte Gruppe hatte dann diese auf den Traktor geladen und zur Sammelstelle gefahren.

Für 50 Hektar haben wir einen ganzen Tag gebraucht und waren Abends kurz vor dem Dunkel werden um 7 Uhr dann fertig.

Eine schöne zeit muss ich ehrlich sagen.
