So much fun can be refuelling. -- So viel spass kann Tanken machen

It's actually quite simple. Go to the gas station and then get out and fill up with gas, pay and off we go again.
But if you're in another country like me, don't even know what kind of gasoline comes into the scooter and don't know a word of the local language, it all looks different. Suddenly you are dependent on the help of others. Wrong fuel and the scooter stops.

Fortunately, the locals help with such things. I quickly found the right gasoline, the lock for the tank too (where I didn't even know how it would open) and then into it. While I stand there and wait until the tank is full, I am looked at from all sides and observed, together with my wife, who had photographed me while refuelling.

Even if the queue of other scooter riders would like to have the tank full behind me as soon as possible, there is still time for a little chat with the gas station attendant. He's relaxed. The other drivers are breathing down my neck. With a full tank and one more experience we get back on the scooter and are looking forward to this little experience.

Es ist eigentlich ganz einfach. Ran an die Tankstelle und dann aussteigen und Benzin einfüllen, bezahlen und los geht es wieder.
Doch wenn du wie ich in einem anderem Land bist, nicht einmal weißt welches Benzin in den Roller kommt und kein Wort der lokalen Sprache mächtig bist, sieht das alles noch anders aus. Plötzlich ist man auf die fremde Hilfe angewiesen. Falsch getankt und der Roller bleibt stehen.

Zum Glück helfen die Einheimischen bei so etwas. Schnell ist der passende Benzin gefunden, das Schloss für den Tank auch ( wo ich nicht einmal wusste, wie er aufgeht ) und dann hinein damit. Während ich so da stehe und warte bis der Tank voll ist, werde ich von allen Seiten angeschaut und beobachtet, sammt meiner Frau, die mich beim Tanken fotografiert hatte.

Auch wenn die Schlange an anderen Roller Fahrern hinter mir auch schnellstens den Tank voll haben möchten, ist immer noch Zeit für ein kleines Gespräch mit dem Tankwart. Er sieht es locker, mir drücken die anderen Fahrer im Nacken. Mit einem vollem Tank und einer Erfahrung mehr steigen wir wieder auf den Roller und freuen uns über dieses kleine Erlebnis.
