I remember before television. I recall that we used to look forward to the arrival of both the Sears and Roebuck AND the Montgomery Wards Catalogs. The regular yearly catalogs AND the christmas ones. I used to spend hours looking at them.

At one time advertising was not tasteless and repulsive.

At one time advertising was not in your face.

Then along came Television and the quality of advertising began to deteriorate.

Then along came the Internet and it went into the sewer.

At one time we didn't HATE advertising like we do now. Even in the early days of Television and the internet advertising wasn't disgusting.

It is now.

Is it a wonder that AdBlockers are so common?

There might be a lesson there for the advertisers...
