CO2 is plant food.

The so called 'carbon footprint' is bogus
....................................................................................................................................................................

  • between 1961 and 2011, the total monetary value of CO2 enhancement for 45 crops reached an estimated cumulative value of $3.2 trillion! Carbon dioxide’s annual enrichment value rose from $19 billion in 1961 to $140 billion in 2010. Between 2012 and 2050, these benefits will total $9.8 trillion!

a billion here...a billion there...pretty soon we're talking real money.

All this hooraw about the detrimental effects of CO2 is just that...bogus.
Right now we have a shortage of CO2 in the atomosphere...nowhere near 'too much'.

Plants evolved when the CO2 content was 1000ppm...not the measly 400ppm it is now.

Plants are actually starving. God forbid it ever drops to 170ppm...plants die then.

Besides..the CO2 global warming bovine excretion is vastly overblown.

f

it's done just about all the 'warming' that it's gonna do.
Adding more CO2 to the atmosphere won't do much at all...except for making the plants grow better and produce more food.

How is that a bad thing?

Sort:

in my opinion, whatever amount of carbon dioxide will not damage the environment as long as it is manageable. how to plant more plants so that it will decipher carbon dioxide through the process of photosynthesis.
Only unfortunately, our concerns will coexist with the plant has been eroded a lot. we have lost our empathy for being together with plants on the grounds of the need for housing, factories, and government offices so as not to make room for plants to adopt carbon dioxide.
Illegal logging worse and we lose the lungs of the world

inconvenient facts.
there are more trees on north american now than there was when columbus landed.

In my country is the opposite. after 1998 the illegal logging become so bad. and we must bear the consequences. when the dry season more difficult to get water and the rainy season can be sure flooding. when we know our country as one of the lung parts of the world.
due to illegal logging is also causing the extinction of various animals and plants.
Sekanrang started to have awareness to do reforestation. but it took a very long time to get back to normal.

I suppose that you shouldn't have let that happen.

yes it is now re-awareness of the need for reforestation. then the forest will return green and orangutans, can return to "his home"
humans then can share with the surrounding environment

Puerto Rico had the problem.(deforestation...dunno about orangutans)
didn't take long to fix.

I kind of agree with you.. there is something wrong somewhere.. even if CO2 is increasing, it could just be a cyclic behaviour of Mother Nature, and nothing to with man's emmissions.

Its all about money.

the truth is the truth no matter who speaks it.

Vegetation need LOTS of co2, the more the merrier...

Those Amazon forests need all the CO2 they can get...you know, to offset the logging that was THE problem for the 'world lungs' 20 years ago...

Or has this been discarded now...? We only need lungs for a couple of decades?.... apparently so ...before something else comes up more vital than breathable air....

....these green environmentalist sure have a busy job, changing agendas from one to another so much...

Why are people so cynical of the left, is beyond me!
😂😂

Prochlorococcus and other ocean phytoplankton are responsible for 70 percent of Earth's oxygen production.
and then there is seaweed...which contributes MOAH!

I never knew that! (seriously, I mean)

Are you trying to tell me conservationists lied about the Amazon jungles then?
Who'd a thunk it?

shocking isn't it?

you and I might not do too well trying to breath 1000 ppm CO2 air though. Too much higher than that and you reach the levels they use to exterminate pests from greenhouses. Its the methane from the bovine excretions that is a whole other can of worms in terms of atmospheric impacts more than the CO2

Data collected on nine nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines indicate an average CO2 concentration of 3,500 ppm with a range of 0-10,600 ppm, and data collected on 10 nuclear-powered attack submarines indicate an average CO2 concentration of 4,100 ppm with a range of 300-11,300 ppm (Hagar 2003).

My bad, it was 10,000 ppm for extermination.
