I don't agree.
I think that they should be subject to the same regulations that THEY made for Truck Drivers. Several times randomly a year, and anytime they exhibit suspicious behavior.
Not only that but they should be required to keep a log of where they are and what they do...including sleep and toilet breaks..
Just like truck drivers do.
Never thought of this. So they aren't already drug tested? As public servants, they should be! Maybe the gov't considers itself "self-insured" so there is no incentive to drug test. idk

And...all the Congressional gun control advocates, should have their 'security detail' at taxpayers expense, removed from them...

If we test them when they exhibit suspicious behavior, then we will be needing a big ole pile of test kits ;). I think that would be tax dollars well spent, anything that keeps these people off the floors of congress passing new laws is a good idea in my book.
