I'm Proud To Be a Scrooge
Afternoon my lovelies, so I just got an order here from Silver Gold Bull. I don't have time to go over it but here's the coin that led me to place my order..
That's the 2018 Niue 1 oz silver Scrooge McDuck coin.
All of us stackers got a lil Scrooge in us I think..we love hoarding coins and would love to swim in them one day!
Overall it's a decent coin but nothing super impressive. If it had a reverse proof finish the details would pop more but then it'd probably also be a more expensive coin..
The details are kinda flat which make it hard to photograph

Overall I give this coin an 8/10 but most of that score is because it's got my alter ego Scrooge on it 😛

Second of all, that coin is both fun (because of the artwork) and prudent (because of the impending financial collapse).
When fiat is no more, perhaps you will be able to buy "race-cars, lazers, aeroplanes" with that lucky coin. :)

The NES game was pretty good, it probably sucks by today's standards, but I used to play it a lot.
Darkwing was a huge hero of mine, I thought he was the coolest... Probably says more about me than the cartoon tho. :)

I think that I will forever be a Disney fan! I love all the cartoon characters and all the fairy tale stories, and animal stories and .... everything. Hmmmm... why don't I have a single Disney coin? I think that Minnie would be great to have!
Totally, Disney has as close to a "real" magic about it, as anything in this life. They have really captured a joy and beauty in all that they do, Disneyland is soaked in it, and of course all their movies and shows too.
Yeah, classic. I just noticed this coin isn't even the same as the picture that I ordered it from. On the website photo he's standing on a pile of coins and there's two smaller money bags in the background..but on this coin those are left out?.. Kinda disappointed about that actually

nice coin, I collect coins for years and I never thought to see one like that, but I tell you a secret I like the used coins that have history to those coins I give them more value, but just like a new coin has its charms.
