DIY - The Railing for our Tiny House - Day 2 - Finished One Side
We had only a half day today because we had to fly back to Honolulu for work on Monday. We finished one side of the railings and we are very happy of how it turned out.
We added the center railing but it took a few hours to finish sand the entire railing. Once we mounted it we patched the cracks, and holes, using a mixture of wood glue and dust from the sanding of the Ohia.
When we finished we oiled the entire railing with furniture oil. A few of the neighbors walked by and said they thought the railing was very cool and creative.
Now we have to find more wood the next time we come to the Tiny House. We have wood for one post we need to find the other pieces. Now we know the best way to prepare the wood and to assemble it.
