Lasercutter Build Log - Stepper motor installs

Started to install the stepper motors for X and Y axis today

As we can see here, the rod for the Y-Axis will go into a bearing or something on this side.. however the bracket is too big for a bearing to fit.. I will have to make a custom bracket

Here is the Y-Axis stepper motor installed witha 5mm coupler to the 5mm thick rod

Here is the X-axis motor mounted onto the X-axis itself.

Here we can see the timing pulley installed onto the Y axis motor

And here is a custom bracket that I made from 3mm aluminium flat bar.

The hole in the center will fit a flange bearing perfectly when press fitted in
