DIY Recycling For Income - More Free Items Saved & Sold For $657 - Take A Look Around And You'll Start Seeing Green

in #diy5 years ago (edited)

I keep hustling to help the environment by recycling for income. Give it a try, feel proud of your positive impact, and you'll never look back.

While revenue is modest in this set, the important part is that these items were not needlessly destroyed, buyers got the items they wanted, I used nearly all recycled packaging, and the environment was positively impacted.

$44 average revenue per find. It stacks up when you have no costs and have higher volume...

Vacuums and vacuum parts do seem popular...

God, in hindsight this post was almost all vac stuff. Oops. They're everywhere here. I only take the good ones. I leave so many behind that aren't profitable to sell. The irony is that the majority of them are tossed because of a clog I fix in 5 minutes, if there's even a problem at all. It's terrible.

Murica!!

Recycling is key to our future. Great job and awesome you are able to profit from it.

Thanks. So many people think that recycling means putting it in a bin for someone else to handle. Sometimes we can do more!

Feel free to check back on the other links below from previous posts if you're interested in getting ideas on the types of household things that sell you may have around your home. I've sold thousands of things, so feel free to ask anything anytime.

Thank you. I will

where do you actually store all the stuffe?! o.O

Right now, in my apartment with shelves, a dedicated room, and some stacks of stuff. It's not ideal or permanent. I've debated getting a storage unit for overflow and bulkier/higher inventory count stuff, but there doesn't seem to be a good option in the vicitinity of my apartment that doesn't require transportation. Since I'd needed regular access, I'm deterred by that, but might have to cave in eventually. Right now, I'm trying to thin down on the larger items and consolidate.

For example, I just re-recycled a set of 6 BoConcept luxury dining chairs back to the curb because they took up too much space, and that was worth more than the revenue they'd ultimately bring in.

Oh common. How can i join you and how can i. invest in these cool profits also

I'm not sure you can physically join me unless you'd like to move to the United States! What reselling sites or platforms are common in your region/city? Let's start with understanding where you can sell and then try to think of ways you can find inventory to sell on them.

Okay. Actually i live in nigeria. What of if i should be sending you steem, you should convert it to us dollar and then you help me sell, then we share the profit 50% 50%.

What could I help you sell?

Probably the recycled to generate this profit you are making
