Let's Play A Game - FREE or BOUGHT with Cost Matching - $47 Cost For $723 Revenue
Hey smarty pants! Let's see if you can pass this upcycled vs thrifted challenge.
See the pics below and tell me if I got them for FREE via upcycling (found chillin in curb recycling/saved from being destroyed), or if I BOUGHT them at a thrift store.
Then, try to match them up with their potential "costs" in the list of options I've included at the bottom!!
1 point for "Free or Bought", and 2 points if you match a price.
The max score will be 15 points across these 10 finds. (Hint - it's a 50:50 split.)
Respond in this format:
- Free
- Bought, $x
GOOD LUCK!

Hope this was fun and a nice exercise. 8 of these were recent sales. 2 of them were pulled from posts a few months ago on purpose to give long term followers a slight advantage.
Start looking around for overlooked things that have value, and you'll start seeing green.
I used to "never see anything" either, but I eventually started paying attention.
I'll keep showing examples to help!
Oh man, I gotta step back into the game. Just got back my a little mountain retreat and no real tests to worry about - so game on!
Step back or dive in? You're going to be an animal. Start building a warehouse in your backyard.
With more time on your hands, I challenge you to at least tell me what you think was free vs thrifted above.
Sure.

I will be interesting to see the answers.
We have charity shops here in the UK, but I think they are a bit different to Thrift Stores. So I don't quite have a feel for them.

Thanks for participating. Good job getting the train stuff since I posted about finding other Harry Potter trains lately for free.
Not too bad - I guessed about half right!
