Like the interior of a mosque these designs will create a nightly sky show that will be different every night, maybe 20 mins to an hour for special occasions when they want to tell a story, but my grand finale involves the hint that you are viewing the Godly Kingly Lamborghini, driving down the roadway, it is Allah's lambo, but as the tinted window of the godly gold jewel encrusted lambo rolls down, the energy revealed from just the crack is too much like gamma radiation and high energy atoms flying at the camera, the scene then cuts to the cosmos, a story is then told using projections of planets and stars over the real milkyway as the lights in this new NEOM super city are all turned down to see the stars.
and i imagine massive hologram projectors on the tops of buildings in Saudi Arabia, and since the new king controls the power company, he can wire all the lights to actually be shut off at night so when its time for the show a few hours before and after, we can SEE the stars an get rid of light pollution and connect to the natural world like the king's ancestors.
And they can have a story told EVERY NIGHT in the sky, and it can mix science and religeon, using occulus rift quest and go people can walk outside and experience amazing 3d augmented reality attractions and games... i imagien a city wide laser tag type game with occulus quest using those controllers would be very very fun
