Tesla on Autopilot drove 7 miles with driver drunk asleep, police says
For me Tesla's Autopilot is the coolest feature of Tesla cars, but it is the responsibility of the driver on how to use it. It is not intended for drunk drivers like the guy caught by the police sleeping while driving a Tesla Model S, it was allegedly on Autopilot mode.

Regarding the situation about the Tesla's autopilot, I agree with what you said, the car if it really is in autopilot it saves the life that sleeping driver. So even if the driver was caught by the police or maybe inprisoned, he should still be thankful that he is still safe because of his car's feature. Thanks.
I didn't know that Tesla already had a car out on the market that could autopilot a car for 7 miles and then pull over to the side of the road after no driver input. That's kind of scary. The driver was asleep and intoxicated in the car behind the wheel and the police had quite the time getting the autopilot to stop the car.
Yes @blueeyes8960, Tesla already sold thousands of cars already.
About what happened, the police did a great job on that, how they managed to pull the car over.
