Drones reveal aftermath of Chernobyl

This is fascinating, after all these years that scientests are still looking and making new discoveries about Chernobyl, after one of the worst disaster in the last few decades. Although the land is some of the most radioactive in the world, and not safe for humans to live, there are many "adventure tourists" who go to places like this and seek danger and excitement.

Although I would never want to visit a place like this, it is interesting how much damage was done, and how unsafe the land still is. It seems that this place might never have humans living nearby ev

I think there could still be some shocks to come. All the dead trees and leaves that are still there today are super radioactive. No insects have helped with the decay and the wood hasn't rotted either due to this. The entire forest around the area is one big pile of tinder waiting to go up in smoke. This is a serious issue that could happen in the future.

It is certainly interesting. Watched the planet earth doco recently and it showed that forest is starting to grow there again..fascinating really.
