A ledger overseen by a trusted central authority?
That is not what it is all about. Another farce by a major corporation. Most of the "enterprise" blockchain is a complete waste.

Why would a ledger need trusted central authority.... it should be enough by it self.

Yea it is interesting to watch this ... an open technology, but patented. They plan to use it to provide services.
Like a some kind of database, online storage, native blockchain or whatever you call it.
