Turkey plans to enter the blockchain ecosystem with its own cryptocurrency as a part of the country's Eleventh Development Plan.

Turkey with the 11th development system development plan for the period 2019-2023 plans to adopt blockchain technology in their banking system. This is one of the government's goals to make the Turkish capital, Istanbul, the center of global economic finance.
