Louisiana Man on Cruise Ship Says His Thumb Was Almost Amputated After Vessel Collided With Dock

Buchholz's lawsuit alleged that because the ship docked in the Dulles, Oregon, on June 6, he became leaving his cabin whilst the steel door "suddenly slammed close for reasons which encompass however are not confined to the collision of the vessel with the dock." The door allegedly closed on Buchholz's proper thumb, causing "partial amputation."
