IBM Introduces 'Quantum Volume' to Track Progress Towards the Quantum Age

Quantum computing will provide the answers to problems we cannot even approach today. Before that can happen, we need to see a great deal of advancement in quantum computing.

Many focus upon the quantum bits (qubits) which is leading IBM to take a different approach. They are looking at quantum volume as the key barometer of the progress.
