3D printing is going to alter how many products are manufactured. Up to this point, the technology was rather "stupid". That is changing as Inkbit claims to have added eyes and a brain to their 3d printing system. This will enable the creation of more in-depth structures while also helping the technology to learn the different patterns. So far, the technology is basically for prototyping with a bit of manufacturing built in.
