Al-Jamees 11/07/2019 Algeria qualified for the semi-finals of the African Nations Cup after crossing Côte d'Ivoire's penalty shootout with a score of 4-3 after a 1-1 draw at the new Suez Stadium in the quarter-finals.
Algeria's Safian Fijouli advanced in the 20th minute, Côte d'Ivoire equalized with Jonathan Cudjia in the 62nd minute, and Baghdad Bungah missed a penalty in the 48th minute for Algeria.
In the penalty shootout, Rami Bensabini, Islam Soleimani, Andy Dilor, Adam Onas and Ahdat Youssef Baili were among the winners.
Côte d'Ivoire, Franck Casey, Maxwell Cornier, Max Gradell, Ajax, Wilfred Bonnie and Siri Di.
Algeria were set to meet Nigeria on Sunday in the semi-finals.
