Globalization of PH sports | The Manila Times

That's the sad truth in our current sports scene. We rarely have those athletes who are true blue and full-Filipino. Mostly, we have those Filipino-American athletes who are playing for the country.

Yeah, we rarely has the same Hidilyn Diaz, Elma Muros, Lydia De Vega, Onyok Velasco, Manny Pacquiao, etc. We often see athletes of mixed blood.
