More transfers have happened in football too. In my last post, i covered one transfer that happened recently in the NBA and i decided to look at the latest transfers in football and an interesting one is the recent transfer of Antoine Griezmann to FC Barcelona not only because it is an interesting transfer but also because it comes with some saga. Athletico Madrid will pursue more payment from FC Barcelona as they feel that they have been underpaid. They feel that Antoine Griezmann has had side talks with FC Barcelona while he was still in contract at a time when his buy clause was still as high as €200m.

FC Barcelona met his €120 million release clause after the season but Athletico Madrid is not happy and their taking legal actions against FC Barcelona as they want more payment.

Atletico Madrid have released an official statement that outlines their intention to open legal proceedings regarding Antoine Griezmann's move to Barcelona.
