Republicans could set Mississippi attorney general nominee
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Three Republicans are vying in a primary Tuesday for their party’s nomination for Mississippi attorney general.
If one of the three — state Treasurer Lynn Fitch of Ridgeland, state Rep. Mark Baker of Brandon or prominent GOP figure Andy Taggart — gains an outright majority in the balloting, that winner will advance to the November general election against an unopposed Democrat
