Be Careful What You Say

It’s going to be a chilly rainy day here enjoys your day!

There’s an old saying, “You can win the battle but lose the war.” In other words, what good is it to win a small argument with a non-Christian friend if it’s going to damage your ability to continue to witness to him in the future?

The next time you’re tempted to put up a good fight, think long and hard about what you’re trying to win. Being labeled a winner doesn’t always mean you are a winner. God already sees you as a winner if you’re following him.
Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life;
he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.
By insolence comes nothing but strife,
but with those who take advice is wisdom.
The beginning of strife is like letting out water,
so quit before the quarrel breaks out.
Proverbs 13:3; 10, 17:14

Do you find yourself arguing simply for argument’s sake? Are you desperate to always look like a winner in the eyes of those around you? If so, your priorities are way off! Jesus sometimes spoke out boldly during conflict, and other times he remained silent. Seek his wisdom to do the same.

Pray It!
Ask God for his wisdom and discernment to know when you should speak out and fight for something and when you should remain silent. Be blessed and keep on smiling whenever and wherever you are. Have a great day everyone! God bless us all and again thank you for your time.🙂
