5 Agility Drills to Help Improve Your Speed - Taekwondo

In order to attack or defend, you have to move fast. In a fight, if you attack your opponent and he/she is able to move fast, you cannot even touch him/her. But your opponent can attack you and he/she will be successful to hit the target.

So what's the problem? Why are you not able to attack your opponent and you find it difficult to defend yourself in a fight?

Footwork is really important. If you can move forward, backward, side to side pretty fast, it can make it work in a fight. If you are slow, don't worry. You can be fast. Just spend some time practicing agility drills.

Well, it might not look so cool, but you can practice it and see how it affects your ability in a fight. Let's watch this video.

You can move forward, side to side and kick. Again you can move backward, side to side and kick. You can practice this in a different variation. When you do the footwork, always keep your hands up, look forward.

In a fight, you have to look at your opponent. If somehow you get distracted, that's a weak point. Anything can happen during that time. So stay focussed and keep practicing.

This is your platform, you can keep things changing and set the new standard. You can say something is related and the next day, you can say that is unrelated. Your decision is final.

Thank you @gotgame for your feedback!

Hi, @rezoanulvibes. I believe you missed out our last conversation on the #help channel of our Discord server.

Professional advice or something that people can benefit from the idea can view as a product.

Very true but I think you have misunderstood the message. Sharing just professional advice on the platform is not a review, rather, sharing your opinions and what you think about that professional advice is.

Sharing just professional advice could be seen as just telling your audience that "Hey, this is a mobile device," which is not a review. You are expected to go further to analyze, and express your opinion in detail about the product. I hope this is clear to you now.

Cheers!

Hi @knowledges!
Thank you for your reply.

"Hey, this is a mobile device," which is not a review.

I agree with this. In fact, that's not professional advice. When experts give professional advice, they give it from their perspective. If you think experts professional advice and opinions are two separate things, I have nothing to say.

Cheers!

Hello there again, you made a decent post, however, anyone could get some of the info from the internet. Even a person with little knowledge about martial art is aware that distraction in a fight could cause a lot. So, if you wanna balance within this professional advice, and review, you need to tell us instances where you used those tricks/moves/stance and describe how they worked for you. Perhaps, you messed up on some part, and you got kicked. The review should have an element of Personal interaction or experience.

A product can be seen as something produced by labor or effort or the result of an act or a process. So a piece of professional advice is given as a result of effort from a professional. That advice can go a long way to help anyone that needs it. If such advice is tapped and used by anyone, it becomes a useful product. However, any professional advice that would be given should be in-depth and not peripherals (based on your perspective of course).

Cheers!
