Report: Patriots Add $20 Million Option Year For 2020 Onto Antonio Brown's Contract
Antonio Brown was happy to flee Oakland. After a rough off season which saw him at the center of a number of controversies, the wide receiver was granted his release over the weekend.
He immediately signed with the New England Patriots. Now, we find out the deal gets even better for him.
The Patriots added an option to the deal for $20 million. It becomes fully guaranteed if it is exercised.
Part of the dispute with Oakland was that his contract essentially became week to week after they cut his termination pay.
