Sterling Shepard concussion adds to Giants’ early woes

The New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys are heated rivals. The teams squared off on Sunday in the opening game for each team.

For the Giants, who are looking to close the gap between the two teams, it was an utter embarrassment. The Cowboys put a beatdown on the Giants, crushing them 35-17.

To make matters worse, the team learned Monday that wide receiver Sterling Sherpard is going to be part of the league concussion protocol. This means that he is likely out against the Bills this next weekend.

Players in the protocol are tested each day. It is unlikely that he will be free of all symptoms this week.

This is another blow to an offense that is without Golden Tate who is on the suspended list.
