Former Belgian king submits DNA in paternity case - CNN
Albert married Paola Ruffo di Calabria, later Queen Paola of Belgium, in 1959. He became king in 1993. In 2013, at the age of seventy nine, he abdicated the throne in want of his son Philippe, mentioning issues over his age and health. That identical year, Boel launched a prison case to peer the previous king diagnosed as her father.
